Video Thursday: Garrison Keillor
Since April is National Poetry Month I wanted to present a video of Garrison Keillor reading a poem. I would rather listen to Mr Keillor read poetry -- or anything else, for that matter -- than probably anyone at all. He reads poetry every day on The Writer's Almanac, so be sure to check that out. It's in the sidebar over yonder.
This clip is of Mr Keillor reading an excerpt from his novel "Pontoon", which I just happened to pick up at one of the wonderful used book stores in Doylestown last week. The first line sold me:
"Evelyn was an insomniac so when they say she died in her sleep, you have to question that."
